YME ×
PotHead Gang.
Cannabis culture has a voice in the room.
Culture at
the center.
YOUNIVERSOUL MUSIC ENT. has partnered with PotHead Gang as its cultural ambassador for cannabis-related entertainment and creative projects.
The partnership brings cultural insight, community perspective, and authentic creative direction to films, series, music, events, editorial content, and original entertainment shaped by cannabis culture.
PotHead Gang brings lived cultural knowledge, a community-centered philosophy, and a developed creative identity. YME brings the entertainment infrastructure to transform cultural ideas into stories, characters, music, visual worlds, and audience experiences.
Together, they can develop work that treats cannabis culture as a complete creative world—built through music, art, community, humor, history, lifestyle, entrepreneurship, shared experiences, and human connection.
Cannabis did not create the community.
It created the space where community could happen.
More than
consumption.
A cannabis culture association, community, entertainment, events, and lifestyle platform built around connection, creativity, belonging, and shared experiences.
It explores the music, art, stories, fashion, language, entertainment, traditions, relationships, businesses, and communities that have grown around cannabis. At its core is a grassroots cultural movement designed to bring people together and create a more organized, expressive, and authentic home for that culture.
The intention is to preserve a community-driven spirit while developing the structure for entertainment, events, partnerships, educational experiences, local chapters, and long-term opportunities.
Its guiding balance:
Grassroots in the streets.
Professional in the boardroom.
The community
was the experience.
PotHead Gang grew from its founder’s repeated experience of cannabis as a social connector. In apartments, recording studios, music sessions, kickbacks, and creative gatherings, cannabis was present—but the atmosphere and the people were the real attraction.
People felt welcome. Artists made music together. Friends exchanged ideas and stories. People from different cities, cultures, and backgrounds formed relationships and could arrive as themselves without feeling pressured to impress anyone.
PotHead Gang was created to give that feeling a name, an identity, and eventually a structure. The vision reached beyond promoting one artist, album, product, or personality: it was a cultural platform intended to connect an entire community.

From the block to the coast / Shared spaces
From shared spaces
to shared identity.
A senior-year trip from Lorain, Ohio to Cedar Point’s Halloweekends — the first experience.
Arizona, to study audio engineering. An apartment becomes an informal meeting place.
Back in Ohio. The same pattern continues in an independent Lorain recording studio.
The concept develops through music, visual identity, language, and storytelling.
That Arizona apartment connected people from Ohio, Arizona, California, Colorado, Mexican and Native communities, recording-school circles, and surrounding neighborhoods.
Music played, records were created, and conversations stretched late into the night. People who arrived as strangers frequently became friends.
Across these spaces, one idea took hold: cannabis did not create the community. It helped create the space in which community could happen naturally.
“What’s up,
my PotHead?”
“Gang” represented collective belonging: people moving together, supporting one another, and identifying with a shared culture. “PotHead,” historically used as a label or insult, was reclaimed as a term of cultural identity and endearment.
The phrase expressed connection, creativity, openness, cultural participation, and belonging. The founder secured the name, domains, and social handles before publicly introducing the movement, approaching it as a lasting identity.
From approximately 2012 through 2023/24, experiments with PotHead Music and Electronic PotHead Music created an open musical umbrella for hip-hop, R&B, neo-soul, reggae, country, electronic music, and other genres.
A cultural home
for adults.
PotHead Gang is for adults who participate in, contribute to, appreciate, or feel connected to cannabis culture—including people who do not personally consume cannabis.
It is for people who see a living culture shaped by neighborhoods, creative communities, shared rituals, personal stories, and evolving forms of expression.

Local character.
Shared direction.
PotHead Gang is being developed through digital and real-world experiences. PotHeadGang.com is envisioned as a digital headquarters for the wider cultural ecosystem.
The long-term chapter model would allow cities to represent themselves authentically. Local communities would lead their chapters, while a broader organization provides standards, systems, resources, and shared direction. The aim is to scale the movement while keeping the culture with the people who created and live it.
